Wonderland Nursery and Primary School is an English-medium school in Majohe, Dar es Salaam, providing Nursery and primary education through Class VII. We combine academic learning with sports and extra-curricular activities to give children a balanced education and a strong foundation for the future.
Established to make quality education more accessible
Wonderland Nursery and Primary School was established to contribute to the effort to make quality education accessible to more children at the primary school level. We provide a healthy and supportive environment where children can develop intellectually and emotionally through a balanced programme of academics, sports and extra-curricular activities.
We provide Pre-primary and primary education through an English-medium learning environment for children in our community. Wonderland was established in response to the rapid population and economic growth of Dar es Salaam and the growing need for quality education among families living, working and investing in the city.
In Majohe Ward, the demand for primary education continues to place pressure on available school infrastructure. Many families therefore look to private schools for additional options and for an environment that meets their expectations for their children’s education.
For parents, choosing a school is ultimately about confidence: confidence that their child is receiving quality teaching, developing academically and growing in a supportive environment. Our school uniform gives every pupil a sense of belonging while creating a smart and organised school environment. We expect pupils to wear their uniform correctly, keep it clean and presentable, and take pride in how they represent Wonderland.
For us, a school uniform is more than what a child wears. It helps children develop good habits around personal presentation, discipline and responsibility, while giving pupils a shared identity as members of the Wonderland community.

At Wonderland, we believe that a child’s education should do more than prepare them for examinations. It should help them become confident learners, responsible members of their community and young people who are prepared for the opportunities ahead.
Our responsibility is to create an environment where children can learn well, feel supported and discover their strengths. This means taking academic learning seriously while also giving pupils opportunities to participate in sports, extra-curricular activities and the wider life of the school.
We also believe that every child is different. Some children find confidence quickly; others need more time and encouragement. Our role as educators is to recognise those differences, provide the right support and help each learner continue making progress.
